20cm. Olive-grey upperparts, whitish underparts, white supercilium, white crescent below the eye, dark eyestripe and moustachial stripe. Sexes are similar.

Central and South India and Sri Lanka.
[edit] Taxonomy
Two subspecies are recognized:[1]
- P. l. luteolus - Coastal south peninsular India
- P. l. insulae - Lowlands, Sri Lanka

Dry scrub and woodland edges.
[edit] Behaviour
- Diet: Includes fruit, nectar and insects.
- Breeding: It builds its nest in a tree; 2 eggs are laid.
