Superciliosa lacks the strong buff tinge to the flanks of cerviniventris.

[edit] Taxonomy

Clements accepts two subspecies:

  • P. s. superciliosa from NE Queensland
  • P. s. cerviniventris from N Australia

Cerviniventris is considered a full species by some authorities, called Buff-sided Robin.

Moist lowland forests and mangrove forests.

It builds a cup shaped nest.
