30cm. Green, parts of its head and ear coverts blue, maroon throat and fore-neck and base of its tail, outer margins of wings are blue.

Humid limestone forests, mangroves, moist montanes, plantations, and rural gardens.

They nest in tree cavities.

The diet includes fruits, nuts and berries, blossoms.
