Identification
50–61 cm
- Dark rufous back
- Olive-brown breast
- Chestnut-tipped rectrices
Distribution
Northern South America: found only in Colombia and Venezuela.
Taxonomy
Subspecies
There are 3 subspecies[1]:
- P. a. albicauda :
- P. a. colombiana:
- Santa Marta Mountains (north-eastern Colombia)
- P. a. argyrotis:
Habitat
Moist montanes.
Behaviour
Their diet consists mostly of fleshy fruits
