Taxonomy

Subspecies^[1]

There are 2 subspecies:

• P. f. prinia:

• Lowlands of Sumatra, western Java and Karimunjawa Islands

• P. f. familiaris:

• Eastern Java and Bali

Habitat

Gardens, open areas with trees and bushes
