Distribution
Western Africa: found in Nigeria, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Angola

This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Dense primary forests, often in swampy areas.

Their diet consists mostly of insects, which includes crickets, grasshoppers, mantids and moths. They also eat some fruit.
