Identification

Male - dark grey above, grey underparts, black wings and tail. Female -paler, faint barring on underside.

Distribution

Pakistan, India, NE Myanmar, China and southeast Asia.

Taxonomy

There are 4 subspecies.

Habitat

Open forest and groves.

Behaviour

The diet includes invertebrates.
