Identification
Black plumage, horn shaped bill often topped by a large casque.
Distribution
Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei.
Taxonomy
There are 2 subspecies
- A m malayanus
- A m deminutus
Habitat
Lowland forest.
Behaviour
The diet includes fruit, grasshoppers, locusts, small reptiles and amphibians.
