Location: Danum Valley,Sebah, Borneo,Malaysia
Pitta arcuata

Identification

A species split from Garnet Pitta P. granatina, which occurs in the south of Borneo.

Distribution

Endemic to the northern part of Borneo in both Indonesia and Malaysia.

Taxonomy

Monotypic.

Habitat

Moist lowland forests.
