Identification
14cm.
Distribution
Asia: found in China, Tibet, Nepal, India, Western Himalayas, Sri Lanka, Bhutan
Southeast Asia: Indochina, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand
Taxonomy
This species has been proposed split into 2 species:
- Cyornis rubeculoides (Blue-throated Flycatcher, four subspecies)
- Cyornis glaucicomans (Chinese Blue-Flycatcher, monotypic)
However, the main taxonomic authorities have not recognized this split yet, and Opus is therefore also following suit.
