If accepted, this family would contain the Crested Shrike-tit and the Wattled Ploughbill of Australia and New Guinea.
They are thought to be closely related due to similarities in bill morphology. However, further study is needed.
Another suggestion would include the Crested Shrike-tit, the Crested Bellbird and the Whipbirds and Wedgebills in this family. Apart from that they all have a crest there is little evidence for such a treatment.

Falcunculidae is a family in the Order Passeriformes.
The two genera are normally included in the family Pachycephalidae.
