Genus: Orochelidon

If accepted this genus would contain the following species:

[edit] Taxonomy

Orochelidon was originally defined as a monotypic genus in the family Hirundinidae. Recent DNA studies indicate that more species should be put together into this unit: for the South American area, SACC have agreed to include the three species mentioned above.
Opus is waiting for more world-wide checklists before following.
