Accipiter castanilius

Length 30-36 cm.

Dark upper parts with three white tail spots. Throat white (barred ruface on female), breast and belly white with rufous bars, flanks chestnut, and vent white. The eyes, cere and legs are yellow.

Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Angola, Gabon, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Republic of the Congo, and Uganda.
