OverviewIn the Snowdonia National Park and overlooking the Mawddach Estuary, this reserve consists of Sessile Oak and birch woodland interspersed with heathy glades. A stream, flowing through a gorge forms one border of the reserve. BirdsNotable SpeciesBreeding birds of the woodlands include all three British woodpeckers, Common Buzzard and Northern Raven, Common Redstart, Pied Flycatcher and Wood Warbler. Common Dipper and Grey Wagtail nest along the stream.
