Taxonomy
Two subspecies recognized:
- C. n. perneglecta: Alor, Sawu, Wetar, Kisar, Romang, Damar and Tanimbar islands
- C. n. neglecta: Eastern Lesser Sundas (Roti, Dao, Semau, Timor and Jaco)
It was formerly included in Glossy Swiftlet.
