Distribution
Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Algeria, Tunesia, Libya, and Egypt.
In Morocco, this species remains very localized but can be found in the east of the Middle-Atlas mountainous chains1.
Taxonomy
Two subspecies are recognized2: duponti and margaritae.
