Identification
Distribution
Equatorial Africa.
Taxonomy
Formerly placed in genus Trochocercus as Trochocercus nigromitratus.
Two subspecies:
- E. n. nigromitrata from Liberia east to Nigeria
- E. n. colstoni from Cameroon east to Kenya, Uganda and S Somalia
Habitat
Lowland moist forest and cloud forests.
