Western Africa: occurs only in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Angola
Eastern Africa: Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi

[edit] Taxonomy

Euschistospiza cinereovinacea has two subspecies:^[1]

• E. c. cinereovinacea

• Highlands of western and central Angola

• E. c. graueri

• Eastern DRC to south-western Uganda
