Asia: found in Assam, Burma, China, Thailand, Indochina, Borneo

Taxonomy

Subspecies leucops may be split as "Pale-faced Bulbul" (Pycnonotus leucops) leaving flavescens, sordidus and vividus as "Flavescent Bulbul" (strict sense)
