Asia: found in Assam, Burma, China, Thailand, Indochina, Borneo
Taxonomy
Subspecies
There are 4 subspecies[1]:
- P. f. flavescens:
- Hills of southern Assam (south of the Brahmaputra) to western Burma
- P. f. vividus:
- P. f. sordidus:
- (Southern Indochina
- P. f. leucops: Pale-faced Bulbul
- Northern Borneo (Mt. Kinabalu to Mt. Mulu and Mt. Murud)
Habitat
Evergreen montane forest and forest edges. Observed at heights around 3300 meters.
