Male c. 70 cm, female c. 40 cm
- Dark green plumage with 'scaled' appearance
Distribution
South-east Asia: found in Java, Bali, Lombok, Sumbawa, Flores and Alor islands

This is a monotypic species[1].

Forests, scrub and arable land.

Little is known, but they are thought to eat seeds and insects.
