Identification

10–13 cm

  • Brownish-grey upperparts
  • Whitish underparts

Distribution

Inland western Australia: found in Northern Territory, South Australia, Western Australia

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Mulga and acacia woodlands and shrubby areas.

Behaviour

Diet

Their main diet consists of insects, especially lerps. They also eat nectar and mistletoe fruits.
