Spain, Canary Islands

Overview

One of the islands making up the Canary Islands, Lanzarote is good for birding because of its close proximity to Northern Africa, which provides a great opportunity to observe migrating birds. Between 250 and 300 species of birds have been recorded in Lanzarote.
