Lepidocolaptes albolineatus

Includes: Duida Woodcreeper; Rondonia Woodcreeper; Layard's Woodcreeper

Identification

Slender and pale decurved bill. Rufous brown above, buffy white throat, underparts have white streaks on a light brown background.

Four subspecies recognized which are all sometimes recognized as full species

  • L. a. albolineatus - Lineated Woodcreeper
  • From eastern Venezuela (Monaguas, Bolívar) to the Guianas and northern Brazil (east of the Branco and Negro rivers)
  • L. a. duidae - Duida Woodcreeper
  • L. a. fuscicapillus - Rondonia Woodcreeper
