Identification
Olive-green upperparts and yellow underparts. White eye-ring, slate grey hood extends, black upper breast . The female is similar but paler. The winter adult has paler hood and less distinct eye-ring.
Distribution
Breeds in the western United States and Canada, wintering on the Pacific slope of Mexico.
