Melocichla mentalis

Identification

Length 18-19 cm. A large, plain warbler with a dark, broad, rounded tail. It has a black malar stripe and unstreaked breast and backand.

  • M. m. amauroura
  • M. m. orientalis
  • M. m. incana
  • M. m. luangwae

Habitat

Long, rank grass adjacent to forest.
