Distribution

North-central Fiji Islands

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species.
It has been considered conspecific with Western Wattled Honeyeater and Eastern Wattled Honeyeater in the past.

Habitat

Moist lowland forests, mangrove forests and montanes.
