Identification

Globally Endangered and probably already on the way to extinction because of habitat destruction

Distribution

Brazil in coastal Paraná, Santa Catarina and Sao Paulo states. Endangered.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species1.

Habitat

Marshland, riverine and mangrove swamps.

Behaviour

Eats insects and other arthropods.
