Identification

Distribution

Limited to lowland of western Colombia and north-western Ecuador (Choco).

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species which is sometimes placed in genus Polyerata.

Habitat

Forests to heavily degraded former forest in subtropical or tropical moist lowland (<500 m asl).
