South America: found only in Venezuela
Taxonomy
Subspecies
There are 2 subspecies[1]:
- P. h. immarginata:
- Known only from the type locality in north-western Venezuela (Lara)
- P. h. hoematotis:
- Montane forests of northern Venezuela (Aragua to Miranda)
Habitat
Moist montanes.
