Distribution

South America: found only in Venezuela

Taxonomy

Subspecies

There are 2 subspecies[1]:

  • P. h. immarginata:
  • Known only from the type locality in north-western Venezuela (Lara)
  • P. h. hoematotis:
  • Montane forests of northern Venezuela (Aragua to Miranda)

Habitat

Moist montanes.
