Identification
Length 20-22 cm. An all-black boubou.
Distribution
Tropical Africa: Sierra Leone to Uganda and Angola.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Moist lowland forests and secondary growth; usually close to the ground.
Behaviour
Vocalisation
Duets include clear whistles and harsh notes.
