Habitat
Semi-arid forest, mulga, and similar dry habitats.
Behaviour
Often found in small flocks which may include multiple species.
Diet
Feeds on seeds and insects. They feed quite actively by frolicking on the ground and low shrubs.
Breeding
Breeds in June to November, but may be anytime after rain. Side-entering nests found in tree hollows, shrubbery and even under Raptor nests.
