- Slate-grey head, upper breast and upperparts
- Yellow underparts
Distribution
Asia: found from the mountains of northern Pakistan to southern Tibet, south-western China, Myanmar and Thailand.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Lower and submontane evergreen forests and secondary growth.
Behaviour
Diet
They eat seeds and berries, including cherries.
Breeding
There is only a little information available. Their nest is a cup of plant fibres, supported by a platform of fir twigs.
