Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
This is one of the many Sunbirds that have recently been moved to the genus Cinnyris from the genus Nectarinia.
Habitat
Drier broad-leafed woodland and savanna; parks and gardens.
Behaviour
Diet
They visit a variety of flowers for nectar and also glean for insects such as aphids. They feed singly, in pairs and also small groups.
