Identification

37-41cm. Green back, red underparts, golden-yellow undertail coverts, short yellow line behind eye, blue breast-band, blue-grey bill with narrow white line at base, white throat, central tail feathers tipped chestnut, white band around base of tail.

Distribution

Peru.

Habitat

Canopy of cool, humid, cloud-forests with dense undergrowth.

Behaviour

The diet includes fruit and flowers.
