Identification

- Olive upper parts
- Brownish-olive crown
- Bright yellow coronal patch (generally partially concealed)
- Whitish loral spot and supercilium
- Yellow under parts
Distribution
South America: found in Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, Ecuador, Peru and Brazil.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Swampy and flooded forests.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists mostly of insects. They generally sit upright on a perch.
