Song Sparrow? I. D. So. California (1 Viewer)

Doesn't look exactly like the other Song Sparrows that I have photographed. Doesn't seem to have the blotch on the chest. Could it be just a juvenile Song Sparrow? Excuse its dirty beak, it has been digging in the mud.

Yes, Song Sparrow - adult though - this is a pretty variable species and the breast spot is not on all birds.
