Ive have a good friend on another social website, who has been writing her own clean but adult version using well known Childrens characters.
If someone where to illustrate these pieces of text (in a style that obviously fits the text), would they be in breach of 'copyright', even if its not really intended for mass publication......
'Visions of Florance and Zebedee handcuffed and bound in leather aka S&M stylee'.....
 
Probably. Famous characters such as those you mention will definitely be copyrighted. Depends who gets to see them I suppose ;)
 
But it's still never stopped people before, especially t-shirts and screensavers of cartoon favourites, erm, locked together....Calvin doing Hobbes T-shirt springs to mind :-O
