How much bird food do you put out every day? (1 Viewer)

Once a bird lover ... always a bird lover
Hi there

Just interested in other peoples take on this question.

I have plates to measure out my Mealworms and sultanas, so it is the same amount every day - a little warm water to cause the Mealworms and Sultanas to expand and they get put out after 5 mins of being in the heated water.

The 2 feeder plates (bird table) and (ground feeder) - get the same mixture of seed and suet pellets in the plate each, and every day

I also scatter some seeds, on the ground, and a mixture of other foods including chopped up apple or apple cores for the Blackbirds as they love them.

What do others do in their daily bird feeding sessions

Regards
Kathy

A couple of handfulls of nuts and sunflower seeds on the table. A sprinkling of same on the ground. A new suet ball when they finish the old one (every 2 - 3 days) and regularly change the water. Seems to attract plenty of different birds.
