Water-Colors from India

I am a purist when it comes to watercolors and painting birds - meaning that I paint them exactly as I see them. I feel that in doing so, a mental data is saved in my brain to the birds characteristics and behavior when observed.
I am working on a more natural background now. I just finished this rather critically endangered Forest Owlet and am now planning on a series of critically endangered species of India. Wish me luck! :)

This is one outstanding piece of artwork! A gorgeous illustration of this endangered Owl.

Here's me wishing you good luck :t:

Am attaching a few from last year. I am getting better as I start including the natural habitat of the birds.

Wow, Beautiful! Your colors are so bright and vibrant, may I ask what brand of watercolor you use?

Bringing awareness about endangered species through art is great. Wish you luck! (And a lot of patience as well!)
I also really like your Upupa epops, it looks like you'll develop your own unique style in no time.
