Pros
  • The cropping factor with shots taken form this camera are 100%.No matter how small is the subject,a really tight crop shows excellent results. Also very good in low light .
Cons
  • none
No faults. An excellent camera, colours are sharp,AF is spot on.

Pros
  • Ease of use for novice photographers.Auto focus can be extremely sharp.
Cons
  • If one does not set set apertures etc,it can be difficult to focus amongst branches and leaves etc.
This is my first time doing a review so please bear with me.Simply if you need a low price DSLR,this is a good camera to start with.It takes the Canon EL lenses, which are excellent ,also the Sigma are compatible. It does lack some of the extras on the Canon 10D,such as buffer speed, but for a basic camera enthusiast it is a good priced SLR.Some people may be put off by what is described as the cheap plastic casing, but it is very solid, and therefore is lighter than the 10D which does make it easier to handhold. There is also a long waiting list for the 10D,and according to the experts there is not really a lot of difference in the two cameras. So what one saves on the basic camera, one can spend on lenses.I am a very novice photographer ,but I have taken some quite good images with this camera, and yes I would recommend it.
