  • Very sharp, light and hand holdable.
Cons
  • Not too good in low light without a mono/tripod.
Have only had it for a couple of months, but, WOW! what a great lens this is. Highly recommended.

  • Focal length without a TC.
I also have one of these lenses. If you are in a hide, and can get the birds to come close enough ( I can get them within 10 feet) this is a superb lens. I have also used it with the Kenko 1.5 TC and it's still as sharp as the 400mm f/5.6L.
