One of the best views you will ever have using these, I used them for everything, hence preferred the x10 over x8 etc.....raptors, sky watching etc, amazing for this!

Pros
  • Value, robust, image quality
Cons
  • Big....
Used these almost daily for years and years, still look and work like new, bombproof.....if a tad large compared to roof prisms.

These rarely leave the house so it doesnt matter, but they are over heavy.

They perform better than expected, for 150-180 I think they are on par with my leicas in normal conditions, very good quality image, fantastic colours and easy to view through for long periods.

I bought mine as a decent inbetween that i can lend out tomoli and live on my windowsill.

A very good buy.

Pros
  • image quality, light, easy to get brilliant images
Cons
  • can be cramped to hold at times
i got mine with the canon bag and 18-55 lens, and it is the silver version. 529, bargain for a quality camera. read the reviews and look at the pictures taken with this, you will soon be sold!

Pros
  • quality, easy to use
Cons
  • when hanging around your neck, it will stretch to 500mm under gravity
i use this on my 350D, and they are happy together handheld or on a tripod. images are detailed and crisp, once you get used to the right hold/balance. i paid 440 for mine.

Pros
  • very well made, an exellent idea
Cons
  • price, lack of fine adjustments
a very usefull clever idea, that is great for those moments when you are constantly taking shots and also need the scope at the ready at the slightest moment.

the fact you can simply swing the camera out the way when you want a quick look through the scope, without having to take your eyes away from the subject is a real bonus!

then when you want to take a picture, you simply swing the camera back round, and it clicks right into the correct position, brilliant.

Pros
  • bright, light and an exellent focus wheel.
Cons
  • none to date!
this is a seriously good scope. shorter than expected, you forget this has one of the largest objective lens available.

and what a difference the large (85mm) front lens makes! - super bright and stunning detail, even at 60x zoom this is good enough to provide a very useable image, probaly THE best zoom lens available.

super focus ability, both rough and smooth for different situations is a real bonus.

overall a light scope, and lighter on the wallet also. i purchased the scope, tripod, head and zoom eyepiece for less than 1300, a real good deal.

easily in the top 3 scope available, not as common as the swaro, but in my eyes, slightly better!

try one and be surprised.

Pros
  • quality well made binos that last for ever, brilliant image. the close focusing ability is fantastic.
Cons
  • other half nearly killed me when told how much i paid for them! 699.90 but worth it! good value compared with the \"ugly\" swarovski 10x42s - nearly 200quid cheaper!
