Description: All new FL Glass, new coatings that improve picture and water resistance. Magnesium and Titanium construction, with all metal focus mechanism. High grade rubber armoring, and compact size. Weight hardly more than 25oz.

I tried every 10x3x glass from Nikon, Zeiss, Swarovski and others and this was the ultimate. I think Leica is back on top with the HD line.

Pros:
Cons:

I have the non-HD version, which is NZ$500 cheaper. The Leica distributor advised me not to buy the HD unless I was sure I would spend a lot of time viewing in the rain or on a boat!
My eyes are not even close to 20/20 anymore, so I think I would only notice the water repellant part of the upgrade - not worth $500 to me.
The standard ones are amazing and I love them!

Pros: Clear image
Cons: Focusing wheel poor

I have had a go with these and for the money I think they over charge for what you get.
