Zeiss have been making Top quality Binoculars for a long time & these are no exception. The styling & feel are superb, the optics are clear, crisp & very sharp. They have a 45mm objective which Is more than big enough & the 15x magnification Is very easy to keep a steady Image when handholding, which Is also very easy to keep up for long periods. At 625g these binoculars are very light Indeed. I did receive a few comments when enquiring about these binoculars & some said that you would need a tripod or something to keep them steady because of the high magnification. That cannot be further from the truth. I would highly recommend these Zeiss 15x45 BT Conquest for anyone Interested In birding. Fantastic & great value for your money.. They are Bak4 prism with a close focusing of 3m with a field of view at 64m. Also watertight & nitrogen purged to stop internal fogging. For people who want that higher magnification for long distance nature viewing, you would be hard pushed to find a better pair of binoculars..
