there's not too much to say about a neoprene lens cover, but as I've just got a new one I thought I'd do a review of it. Having looked at eth prices I decided to go for a Wildlife Watching Supplies ( http://www.wildlifewatchingsupplies.co.uk in Devon) one (£35 for my lens compared to £60 for a Lenscoat). I phoned up to check some details and placed my order, the cover arrived within a couple of days.
The lens cover was very easy to fit and the neoprene is nice and think (4mm according to the website, I've not measured it myself!) giving the feeling that it really would protect the lens from knocks. The cover comes in a number of sections which almost completely covers the lens. the sections line up in such a way that you can slip a finger inbetween then when you need to move switches (like AF/MF and focus limiter). I also like the way that all the sections stretch to fit and none are stuck on, so when removed the cover leaves no marks at all. A real bonus was the included covers for a 1.4x and 2x tc meaning the whole rig can be protected.

Yep, very good. I've got these for my Nikon 600VR and they do the job. I leave mine on all the time. Mine is 'advantage wetland' pattern, but there's a good range of colour options. As said above, they're cheaper than the equivalent lenscoat (though I do have a lenscoat hood cover that fits perfectly over the end even with these on).
