Description: Nikon Coolpix P500 has an incredible 36x zoom lens...shoots from 22.5mm to 810mm with same builtin zoom lens. when i first saw someone with this camera I thought "that can't be a serious camera"...boy was i mistaken. I use this as an alternative to my Nikon 7000 with Sigma 150-500 zoom. At a fraction of the weight and for $400US this camera is a bargin. Photos are great. I don't care what the reviews may say I love it and it has VR built in to boot.

Pros: Great zoom
Cons: Short battery life

Great liteweight high zoom camera
