Ravis, no and for most models there is nowhere I can try out binoculars locally. However I just looked them up and they do look nice, and a bit lighter too.

Have you tried the more expensive Opticron Aurora? Although they are not open-bridged they have a slighltly wider field at 7.2* and 20mm er, which is almost as good as the DBA er.

Bought the Opticron dba vhd + 8x42 last year,migtily impressed with them too.Had some old,30 yr old Leica ba's which I also got serviced, still undeer guarantee! The Opticrons,blew them away...honestly.Downside was...I ended up leaving them at a local reserve and never got them back! So what did I do.....bought myself the exact same pair £585.00 only last week!They really are quality imho!!!
