Huge numbers of birds arriving in the LDV including Snipe,Shelduck,Curlew.Song thrush,Red Kite and lots more.

good to see lots of Song Thrush but still no Barn Owls.

Car park (picnick area) just after bridge at Bubwith had woodcock there 3 times. it roosts in the gully at the back of the car park.

Might not be rare or scarce to most but this is the first Kestrel i have had on my patch for at least six months!

Friendly Robin was a seasonal pleasure, upto 30 Whoopers and rising water...

not seen any yet keith but with the bonkers forecast for tomorrow anything is possible.

big flocks of wigeon around plus marsh harrier and a few teal a very very pale buzzard hanging around as well.
