I have much difficulty with these, thinking Chiffchaff, but no eye stripe, and first photo, looks like a curve beak, maybe.

Very enjoyable day

my first visit for about a month, and very enjoyable too. Nice t see lots of young birds and a full flash.
Not a great photograph, but the only cuckoo I have ever managed to get a lens on

Watched them fly from north to south, passed over the pits. Good views of them in flight, but not so good for my camera. Others were there with long lenses, hope they post some shots.
